In the 17th minute, Brynn La Forte ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Todd Rose was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 22 minutes into the game, Bramcote's Rio Searle nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The supporters of Bramcote booed when United FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Craig Billington didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Craig Billington stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The Bramcote fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. 71 minutes into the match, Brynn La Forte dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Todd Rose, 0-7. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Reuben Billington took a quick shot and it went in 0-8 without a chance for Todd Rose to make any attempt to save it.
