After 4 played minutes Kauto Stars got a freekick which was hit by Edward Stevens. After 5 played minutes, Welling FC's David Hinshelwood shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Andre Forbes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Welling FC reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Steve Addison in the 10th minute of play forced Kauto Stars's goalkeeper Andre Forbes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Robert Dowrick kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. David Hinshelwood took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 12th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Andre Forbes. Kauto Stars's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Junior Prince received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Andre Forbes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 20th match minute, Kauto Stars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jasper Bedford to maneuver through the defense. Edward Stevens charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edward Stevens the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 22nd match minute, Kauto Stars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edward Stevens to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bryan Vaughan in the 28th minute of play forced Kauto Stars's goalkeeper Andre Forbes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kauto Stars's Andre Forbes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bryan Vaughan in the 32nd minute of play. Andre Forbes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Austin Cawood, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 41 minutes into the game, Robbie Wing cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Andre Forbes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Kauto Stars players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Welling FC were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tod Shephard to strike the kick off in the second half. Pedro Fordham struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Sebastien Bridge didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kauto Stars. A collision led to Kauto Stars getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Jasper Bedford hit a great ball. When Junior Prince came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Welling FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Junior Prince couldn't finish the play. Ted Bye recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 63 minutes into the match, Kauto Stars's goalkeeper Andre Forbes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Robbie Wing. Andre Forbes was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Steve Addison showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 68 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Robbie Wing got free with Andre Forbes in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Andre Forbes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Junior Prince, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Junior Prince's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Andre Forbes was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. 81 minutes into the match, Kauto Stars's goalkeeper Andre Forbes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Robbie Wing. An unexpectedly hard shot by Junior Prince in the 84th minute of play forced Kauto Stars's goalkeeper Andre Forbes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andre Forbes made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Bryan Vaughan sent off a good shot on target. In the 87th minute, Robbie Wing ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Andre Forbes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. In the 91st minute Junior Prince shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andre Forbes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 95 minutes into the game, Steve Addison cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Andre Forbes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Welling FC played a much better game than Kauto Stars and deserved their victory. The Kauto Stars players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
