Spectators: 7000 (Terracing: 5300, Seating: 1600, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Martin Snowdon started the match with the kick off. Brandon Connor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacob Bancroft in the 4th minute of the match. Brandon Connor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Chance Tatum in the 5th minute. 11 minutes into the game, Workington AFC's Chance Tatum nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Brandon Connor made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Brandon Connor came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Workington AFC's Alfredo Fini. But to his dismay, Alfredo Fini quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. After 17 played minutes Workington AFC got a freekick which was hit by Jo Kingston. Sebastian Monkhouse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nathan Partridge in the 18th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Andre Bullard during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Andre Bullard kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Brandon Connor stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aaron Pollard's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. 22 minutes into the match, The Hungry Toads's goalkeeper Brandon Connor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfredo Fini. The Workington AFC fans' excitement grew in the 22nd match minute when Workington AFC's Alfredo Fini looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Brandon Connor didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 31st minute, which inside left pole to 6-0. In the 34th minute, Workington AFC's Aaron Pollard dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 7-0. In the 38th minute, Neil Rundle made a precise shot to the right of Brandon Connor. The Hungry Toads's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. In the 45th minute Alfredo Fini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brandon Connor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Workington AFC's Aaron Pollard slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Brandon Connor. That made the score 10-0 after 46 minutes of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 10-0 at half-time.

Brandon Connor came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Workington AFC's Aaron Pollard. But to his dismay, Aaron Pollard quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 11-0. Brandon Connor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Fini in the 54th minute of play. Brandon Connor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aaron Pollard in the 55th minute of the match. Alfredo Fini scored 12-0 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Brandon Connor, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Brandon Connor didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aaron Pollard went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 13-0 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in The Hungry Toads's zone, Aaron Pollard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brandon Connor came out of the goal and Aaron Pollard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 67 minutes into the game, Aaron Pollard cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 14-0. Brandon Connor was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Workington AFC's Sebastian Monkhouse proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Workington AFC from getting a goal against them. In the 73rd minute of the match The Hungry Toads got a corner. Workington AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Niall Basham ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Niall Basham got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Sebastian Monkhouse quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The supporters of Workington AFC booed when The Hungry Toads was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andre Bullard didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jacob Bancroft blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Brandon Connor having to make a save. 83 minutes into the game, Workington AFC's Alfredo Fini nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Brandon Connor made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 16-0. In a very dangerous position, a player in Workington AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 86th minute. Penalty! Workington AFC:s Sebastian Monkhouse showed great skill when he stopped Niall Basham:s penalty. 89 minutes into the match, Niall Basham notched a goal, 16-1, to the right of Workington AFC's Sebastian Monkhouse. Sebastian Monkhouse was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Workington AFC's Aaron Pollard got a free kick in the 93rd minute. There was no doubt that Workington AFC were the better team. Workington AFC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
