Mitch Worrall showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Junior Prince in the 24th minute of the match. Junior Prince took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mitch Worrall. Mitch Worrall dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Robbie Wing sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 37 minutes into the match, Barmby on the Marsh's goal looked a bit too open when Junior Prince came free, but Mitch Worrall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Conal Hayes charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Conal Hayes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Barmby on the Marsh getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Conal Hayes hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Barmby on the Marsh's zone, Junior Prince stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mitch Worrall came out of the goal and Junior Prince tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 47th minute, Junior Prince got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Johnathon Hallam made a kick off. If Johnnie Cartwright had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Junior Prince fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mitch Worrall having to interfere. In the 72nd minute, Johnnie Cartwright got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Johnnie Cartwright managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barmby on the Marsh's supporters rose to their feet, but Johnnie Cartwright was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sebastien Bridge breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Junior Prince received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Mitch Worrall tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mitch Worrall took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Junior Prince, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Tod Niven was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 92 minutes had been played.
