Spectators: 7944 (Terracing: 5959, Seating: 1827, VIP seats: 158) Phillip Gettins started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 14 minutes into the match, Kauto Stars's goal looked a bit too open when Phillip Gettins came free, but Andre Forbes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 16 played minutes Kauto Stars got a freekick which was hit by Philip Abbotts. The throw-in from Robert Dowrick in the 18th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Real Brid's Ronnie Eastham. Ronnie Eastham received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Andre Forbes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Real Brid's Phillip Gettins got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tod Shephard kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kauto Stars's goalkeeper Andre Forbes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Real Brid's Ronnie Eastham managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Robert Dowrick in the 34 minute of the game. The supporters of Kauto Stars booed when Real Brid was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matthew Renwick didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tod Shephard to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Phillip Gettins fired away a shot that was totally unreachable for Andre Forbes. The ball ended up just outside the left post, and Real Brid's manager could be seen angrily pacing the sidelines. Phillip Gettins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Andre Forbes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Phillip Gettins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 75th match minute, Real Brid was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Phillip Gettins to maneuver through the defense. Phillip Gettins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Phillip Gettins might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Andre Forbes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Phillip Gettins ran back to his position shaking his head. Andre Forbes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Phillip Gettins in the 87th minute of the match. Andre Forbes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Phillip Gettins in the 95th minute of play. Kauto Stars succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Real Brid had controlled the match.
