Ben Barr was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ben Barr showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aaron Pollard in the 15th minute of the match. In the 15th minute, Aaron Pollard ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ben Barr was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aaron Pollard in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ben Barr prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 20 played minutes Little Harrowden got a freekick which was hit by Fred Orchard. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aaron Pollard in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ben Barr saved Little Harrowden from getting behind. The Workington AFC fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when Workington AFC's Aaron Pollard looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 29 minutes, Aaron Pollard made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Little Harrowden's Ben Barr tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Workington AFC booed when Little Harrowden was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tyler Lundy didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 35thth minute of the game Aaron Pollard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Little Harrowden's Ben Barr was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dane Lynch kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Aaron Pollard's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ben Barr read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Aaron Pollard took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ben Barr. Ben Barr was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.

The wind increased when Trev Bilham made the kick off in the second half. Aaron Pollard struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Ben Barr didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Workington AFC. Aaron Pollard succeeded in the game's 53rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-7. After 59 minutes, Alfredo Fini made it 0-8 with a short kick to the right side. Little Harrowden's Ben Barr tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With his leg Ben Barr managed to avoid a goal in the 62ndth minute, when Workington AFC's Alfredo Fini fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.
