Alastair Sugden started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Steve Addison during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 2 played minutes Welling FC got a freekick which was hit by Steve Addison. A collision led to Welling FC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Bryan Vaughan hit a great ball. Steve Addison kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Carlton Boston received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sebastien Bridge came out and tried to block the shot, but Carlton Boston slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 14th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Roehampton Raptors's goal looked a bit too open when Steve Addison came free, but Vinicio Vitin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Junior Prince had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vinicio Vitin. Roehampton Raptors's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Junior Prince was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 28th minute Junior Prince shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vinicio Vitin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vinicio Vitin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Junior Prince, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Junior Prince in the 40th minute of play forced Roehampton Raptors's goalkeeper Vinicio Vitin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Junior Prince during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Welling FC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Junior Prince hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alastair Sugden got free with Sebastien Bridge in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Carlton Boston received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Sebastien Bridge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Junior Prince was the one to do the kick off. Vinicio Vitin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bryan Vaughan went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 60thth minute of the game Alastair Sugden who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Welling FC's Sebastien Bridge was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Roehampton Raptors's defense didn't have a chance, in the 61st minute, when Junior Prince scored to the left of an out of position Vinicio Vitin, making the score, 1-3. Alastair Sugden recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A sloppy throw-in by Ted Bye in the 67th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Roehampton Raptors's Çağatay Keşif. Alastair Sugden recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Roehampton Raptors's Vinicio Vitin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Junior Prince in the 73rd minute of play. Robbie Wing could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Vinicio Vitin made a huge save. 78 minutes into the match, Roehampton Raptors's goal looked a bit too open when Junior Prince came free, but Vinicio Vitin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Welling FC's Steve Addison got his second yellow card of the match in the 79th minute. The referee ordered Steve Addison off the ground. A collision led to Welling FC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Steve Addison hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Alastair Sugden's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sebastien Bridge was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. Junior Prince hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. When Roehampton Raptors's Alastair Sugden in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Welling FC's goalie prevented a goal. Robbie Wing blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vinicio Vitin having to make a save. Although Roehampton Raptors had been in control for most of the match, Welling FC still came away with the win.
