Andre Forbes made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Kirk Burrows sent off a good shot on target. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fred Orchard was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Kauto Stars's goal looked a bit too open when Fred Orchard came free, but Andre Forbes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Kauto Stars getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Jasper Bedford hit a great ball. In the 56thth minute of the game Kirk Burrows who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kauto Stars's Andre Forbes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Andre Forbes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fred Orchard in the 57th minute of the match. If Dane Lynch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fred Orchard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andre Forbes having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Kauto Stars's Philip Abbotts got a free kick in the 70th minute. Andre Forbes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dane Lynch went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Andre Forbes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fred Orchard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th match minute, Kauto Stars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robert Dowrick to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Kauto Stars defense, Kirk Burrows kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Andre Forbes. The Kauto Stars fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andre Forbes should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fred Orchard in the 95th minute of play forced Kauto Stars's goalkeeper Andre Forbes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Little Harrowden walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
