The referee felt a red card was in order, 4 minutes into the game, when Tyler Lundy put in a rough tackle. Ben Barr went to the wrong direction when Lance MacDonald was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dane Lynch in the 16th minute of play forced Woolton's goalkeeper Leroy Floyd to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Little Harrowden's Ben Barr played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andre Cavanagh in the 19th minute of play. Woolton's Des Scott managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Edward Broad in the 22 minute of the game. In the 22nd minute, Owen Wilberforce got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Andre Cavanagh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ben Barr didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Woolton's Owen Wilberforce shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-3 in the ordered_time% minute. Ben Barr didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Andre Cavanagh went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andre Cavanagh in the 35th minute of play forced Little Harrowden's goalkeeper Ben Barr to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Little Harrowden's zone, Owen Wilberforce stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ben Barr came out of the goal and Owen Wilberforce tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 39 minutes into the match, Little Harrowden's goal looked a bit too open when Owen Wilberforce came free, but Ben Barr reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Woolton's Leroy Floyd proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Woolton from getting a goal against them. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Andre Cavanagh was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Andre Cavanagh got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 52nd match minute, Little Harrowden was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chris Hopton to maneuver through the defense. Owen Wilberforce's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ben Barr firmly grabbed it by the left post. Jacob Shuttleworth struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Ben Barr didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Woolton. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Owen Wilberforce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Owen Wilberforce's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 76thth minute, Ben Barr skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Ben Barr showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andre Cavanagh, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. If Andre Cavanagh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ben Barr made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacob Shuttleworth in the 86th minute of play. Owen Wilberforce's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ben Barr firmly grabbed it by the left post. Owen Wilberforce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ben Barr having to interfere. Andre Cavanagh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fred Orchard kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Woolton played a much better game than Little Harrowden and deserved their victory. The Little Harrowden players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
