Benjamin Maylett made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Stu Dyson sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Oddspredator.net's Stu Dyson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Benjamin Maylett. That made the score 1-0 after 6 minutes of play. Oddspredator.net's Stew Portway played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erwin Schrödinger in the 15th minute of play. Abraham Read took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stew Portway. Stew Portway dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Stew Portway took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stu Hislop, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stew Portway made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erwin Schrödinger in the 28th minute of play. In the 29th minute Purple Cobras were awarded a corner. Tod Fleetwood went to the cornerflag to take it. A collision led to Purple Cobras getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Abraham Read hit a great ball. 39 minutes into the match, Erwin Schrödinger notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Oddspredator.net's Stew Portway. Stew Portway was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Stu Dyson kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Purple Cobras's Abraham Read got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 48 minutes, David Eyre managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Oddspredator.net's supporters crossed their fingers, but David Eyre was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Erwin Schrödinger made a kick off. In the 54th match minute, Purple Cobras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erwin Schrödinger to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erwin Schrödinger got free with Stew Portway in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Erwin Schrödinger's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 58thth minute, Stew Portway skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The audience was convinced that Erwin Schrödinger's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stew Portway was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Lee Acton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stew Portway having to interfere. Erwin Schrödinger could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Stew Portway made a huge save. Bruce Pickford might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stew Portway. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bruce Pickford ran back to his position shaking his head. Oddspredator.net's Stew Portway proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Oddspredator.net from getting a goal against them. If Erwin Schrödinger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erwin Schrödinger got free with Stew Portway in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 72 minutes into the match, Oddspredator.net's goal looked a bit too open when Abraham Read came free, but Stew Portway reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd minute Purple Cobras were awarded a corner. Tod Fleetwood went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Purple Cobras's corner Tod Fleetwood fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Stew Portway quite easily take care of the ball. If David Eyre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84th minute, Johnny Haseldine hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th minute Erwin Schrödinger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stew Portway saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 88 minutes into the game, Oddspredator.net's Ashley Crichton nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benjamin Maylett made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. When Brett Harper came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Purple Cobras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brett Harper couldn't finish the play. Abraham Read succeeded in the game's 93rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-3. 97 minutes into the match, Abraham Read dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Stew Portway, 2-4.
