Stu Dyson scored 2-0 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Romeo Lemerond, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Oddspredator.net's Damion Holt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Len Cryan in the 20th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Stu Dyson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Romeo Lemerond. Thē Ŵhïppętś's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stu Dyson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Thē Ŵhïppętś's Romeo Lemerond proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Thē Ŵhïppętś from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jay Plant during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Thē Ŵhïppętś getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Jay Plant hit a great ball. A hard shot by Hayden Boulton from long distance, 36 minutes into the match, got Romeo Lemerond's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The crowd rose to their feet as David Eyre kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Romeo Lemerond. That made the score 4-1 in the 41 minute of play. Luke Jefferies struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Damion Holt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Thē Ŵhïppętś. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stu Dyson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Darryl Clifford received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Damion Holt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfie Chambers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. David Eyre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeo Lemerond having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Thē Ŵhïppętś's zone, Stu Dyson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Romeo Lemerond came out of the goal and Stu Dyson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Den Hartshorn kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Romeo Lemerond made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stu Dyson in the 69th minute of play. If David Eyre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bob Elam hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. When David Eyre came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Oddspredator.net fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that David Eyre couldn't finish the play. Alfie Chambers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeo Lemerond having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Thē Ŵhïppętś's Damion Holt threw himself towards the right post 81 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Luke Jefferies, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After some careless play in the Oddspredator.net defense, Luke Jefferies kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Damion Holt. The Oddspredator.net fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Damion Holt should have stopped the shot. In the 89th minute, Jay Plant hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Oddspredator.net booed when Thē Ŵhïppętś was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Den Hartshorn didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee ended the match the Oddspredator.net players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
