In the 14th minute, Tod Fleetwood got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erwin Schrödinger in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ray Duggan saved Skadoosh ! from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Abraham Read's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ray Duggan was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. This resulted in a 0-4 score and a disappointed Ray Duggan as he didn't even see the shot coming. Erwin Schrödinger struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Ray Duggan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Purple Cobras. Ray Duggan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abraham Read, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erwin Schrödinger got free with Ray Duggan in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bruce Pickford fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ray Duggan having to interfere. When Erwin Schrödinger came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Purple Cobras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erwin Schrödinger couldn't finish the play. After 73 minutes, Antony Ellison mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Skadoosh ! and the Purple Cobras players grew even worse after the yellow card. Erwin Schrödinger who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 75thth minute tested the skills of Ray Duggan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ray Duggan stood somewhat misplaced when Erwin Schrödinger came free in front of goal and shot 0-5 to the left of him in the 75 minute. In the 80th minute Purple Cobras were awarded a corner. Tod Fleetwood went to the cornerflag to take it.
