When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, David Eyre put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Esad Vidić. 28 minutes into the match, Stu Dyson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Esad Vidić. Birstall Bombers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stu Dyson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Paulinho de Sena recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alfie Chambers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Esad Vidić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Damion Holt made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Orson Woodier sent off a good shot on target. 41 minutes into the match, Oddspredator.net's David Eyre sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Esad Vidić narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Paulinho de Sena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Stu Dyson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esad Vidić having to interfere. The supporters of Oddspredator.net booed when Birstall Bombers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damian Stride didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Birstall Bombers defense, David Eyre kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Esad Vidić. The Birstall Bombers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Esad Vidić should have stopped the shot. David Eyre recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Johnny Haseldine's late challenge caught a Birstall Bombers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Johnny Haseldine helped the player get up and apologised. After 96 minutes, Stan Carr mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Birstall Bombers and the Oddspredator.net players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 97 played minutes Birstall Bombers got a freekick which was hit by Stan Carr.
