Spectators: 8582 (Terracing: 6437, Seating: 1974, VIP seats: 171) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tim Hurren took the kick off in the first half of the match. Rio Best recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 4th minute, Thē Ŵhïppętś's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Tim Hurren fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 8 minutes into the game, Witney City's Tim Hurren nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Romeo Lemerond made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 12th minute, Dom Elvins hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rio Best's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Romeo Lemerond read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Darryl Clifford in the 16th minute of play forced Witney City's goalkeeper Jerome Canning to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute, Tim Hurren had to leave the field with a concussion. Witney City made a substitution. Andre Nethercott replaced Tim Hurren. 26 minutes into the game, Witney City's Andre Nethercott nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Romeo Lemerond made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. If Darryl Clifford had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rio Best received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Romeo Lemerond tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Romeo Lemerond made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andre Nethercott in the 34th minute. Andre Nethercott received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. After some careless play in the Thē Ŵhïppętś defense, Andre Nethercott kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Romeo Lemerond. The Thē Ŵhïppętś fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Romeo Lemerond should have stopped the shot. If Andre Nethercott had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Darryl Clifford stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Andre Nethercott got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Andre Nethercott received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Romeo Lemerond tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Andre Nethercott had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 61 minutes into the match, Thē Ŵhïppętś's goal looked a bit too open when Andre Nethercott came free, but Romeo Lemerond reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Andre Nethercott came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Witney City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andre Nethercott couldn't finish the play. Romeo Lemerond made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andre Nethercott in the 65th minute of play. Ozzy Graves kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Jerome Canning made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Louie Bradley in the 76th minute of play. Andre Nethercott recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tommy Bond in the 80th minute of play forced Thē Ŵhïppętś's goalkeeper Romeo Lemerond to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andre Nethercott in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Romeo Lemerond prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Andre Nethercott sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rio Best in the 87th minute of play forced Thē Ŵhïppętś's goalkeeper Romeo Lemerond to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The throw-in from Dom Elvins in the 88th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Witney City's Ashley Thomas. If Andre Nethercott had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Thē Ŵhïppętś defense, Rio Best kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Romeo Lemerond. The Thē Ŵhïppętś fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Romeo Lemerond should have stopped the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Witney City fully deserved thier win.
