Spectators: 8403 (Terracing: 6303, Seating: 1932, VIP seats: 168) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jay Plant started the match with the kick off. Ray Duggan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jay Plant in the 8th minute of the match. A collision led to Thē Ŵhïppętś getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Kelvin Stiles hit a great ball. Joshua Brumfitt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brian Ellison, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Louie Bradley struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Ray Duggan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Thē Ŵhïppętś. 29 minutes into the match, Jay Plant had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ray Duggan. Skadoosh !'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jay Plant was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Ray Duggan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Louie Bradley, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Blair Pallister could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Joshua Brumfitt made a huge save. Jay Plant received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Ray Duggan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Johnathon Haigh, 40 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When Blair Pallister came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Skadoosh ! fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Blair Pallister couldn't finish the play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Brian Ellison to make the kick off. Jay Plant charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jay Plant the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Thē Ŵhïppętś's Jay Plant got a free kick in the 52nd minute. If Jay Plant had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 56 in the game by Louie Bradley from a close distance when the talented Ray Duggan managed to make a qualified save. Skadoosh !'s players were relieved. Thē Ŵhïppętś's Louie Bradley got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Skadoosh !'s Ray Duggan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jay Plant in the 64th minute of play. Jay Plant fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ray Duggan having to interfere. Ray Duggan made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Louie Bradley sent off a good shot on target. In the 70th minute, Brian Ellison got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 72 minutes, Ray Duggan successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Skadoosh !'s zone, Jay Plant stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ray Duggan came out of the goal and Jay Plant tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Blair Pallister recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ray Duggan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Louie Bradley in the 80th minute. Skadoosh !'s Ray Duggan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jay Plant in the 82nd minute of play. Ray Duggan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jay Plant, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joshua Brumfitt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brian Ellison, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Louie Bradley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jay Plant fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ray Duggan having to interfere. In the 94th match minute, Thē Ŵhïppętś was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kelvin Stiles to maneuver through the defense. Thē Ŵhïppętś's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
