If Kurt Lodge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 18 minutes, Kurt Lodge managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dynamo Hill FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kurt Lodge was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Calvin Stockton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jay Plant, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Calvin Stockton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Den Hartshorn in the 25th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the game, Bob Elam was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Thē Ŵhïppętś's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dynamo Hill FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Thē Ŵhïppętś's Bob Elam got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 33rd minute, Mike Hargraves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 37 minutes into the match, Dynamo Hill FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jay Plant came free, but Calvin Stockton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Dynamo Hill FC reached it. In the 75th match minute, Thē Ŵhïppętś was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Den Hartshorn to maneuver through the defense. Deon Hirst charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After 95 played minutes Thē Ŵhïppętś got a freekick which was hit by Jay Plant. When Kurt Lodge came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Dynamo Hill FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kurt Lodge couldn't finish the play.
