Jack Nicholson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kurt Lodge went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. 31 minutes into the game, one of Dynamo Hill FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Calvin Stockton had in the 34thth minute some difficulties stopping Jânio Guedes's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 1-3 came in the 34th minute when Jânio Guedes all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Calvin Stockton. Dynamo Hill FC's Calvin Stockton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jânio Guedes in the 38th minute of play. Calvin Stockton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jânio Guedes in the 39th minute of play. Jack Nicholson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sean Burns, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Blyth AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Dynamo Hill FC were winning 1-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Virgilio Valery to make the kick off. Dynamo Hill FC's Calvin Stockton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Virgilio Valery in the 52nd minute of play. In the 53rd minute Jânio Guedes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Calvin Stockton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathon Renwick fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jack Nicholson having to interfere. With a little luck, Blyth AFC's Jack Nicholson got control of the ball when Sean Burns tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Edmund Ziombkowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Calvin Stockton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jânio Guedes in the 62nd minute of play. Calvin Stockton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jânio Guedes in the 66th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the match, Blyth AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Zack Hird came free, but Jack Nicholson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd minute John Paul Long suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. 73 minutes into the game, Jonathon Renwick was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dynamo Hill FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Blyth AFC the free kick. Blyth AFC's Gerry Buckler was substituted for John Paul Long. An unexpected shot in the 80th minute by Sean Burns got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Sean Burns who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 85thth minute tested the skills of Jack Nicholson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 86th minute, Gerry Buckler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Dynamo Hill FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Dynamo Hill FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
