Spectators: 8446 (Terracing: 6336, Seating: 1942, VIP seats: 168) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Den Newland got the match started through his kick off. After 2 played minutes Barr Point got a freekick which was hit by Den Newland. In the 7th minute, Chris Bowler left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barr Point fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 10 minutes into the game, Barr Point's Jamie Mayfield nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Travis Nethercott made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Travis Nethercott showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chris Bowler in the 15th minute of the match. In the 16th minute, Den Newland left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barr Point fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. The Wheeliebins's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Den Newland 20 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 4-0. After 24 minutes The Wheeliebins's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was CJ Street who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Barr Point's CJ Street to fire away a dangerous shot which Travis Nethercott despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 37th minute, Jamie Mayfield left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barr Point fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. In the 39th minute, Den Newland reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Travis Nethercott. The goal made the score 6-0. Den Newland charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Den Newland the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 44th match minute, Barr Point was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Den Newland to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Murdock Askew was the one to do the kick off. Travis Nethercott came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Barr Point's Den Newland. But to his dismay, Den Newland quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Travis Nethercott made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Den Newland in the 56th minute of play. After some careless play in the The Wheeliebins defense, Chris Bowler kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Travis Nethercott. The The Wheeliebins fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Travis Nethercott should have stopped the shot. Den Newland took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Travis Nethercott. Travis Nethercott dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. 68 minutes into the match, The Wheeliebins's goal looked a bit too open when Chris Bowler came free, but Travis Nethercott reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Travis Nethercott showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Den Newland, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 71st minute, Lee Rush got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 73 played minutes Barr Point got a freekick which was hit by Alfred Doona. 78 minutes into the game, Barr Point's Den Newland nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Travis Nethercott made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 10-0. Travis Nethercott showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chris Bowler, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Travis Nethercott took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chris Bowler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jamie Mayfield in the 87th minute of play forced The Wheeliebins's goalkeeper Travis Nethercott to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Travis Nethercott showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chris Bowler in the 88th minute of the match. Murdock Askew kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 89thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Barr Point's keeper Jude Bonham was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. 93 minutes into the match, The Wheeliebins's goal looked a bit too open when Chris Bowler came free, but Travis Nethercott reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Barr Point players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
