An unexpectedly hard shot by Bryan Richardson in the 24th minute of play forced Śląsk Wrocław FC's goalkeeper Ben Ricketts to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ben Ricketts made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Matty Robson sent off a good shot on target. Gez Eyre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Ben Ricketts tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ben Ricketts made an important save on a dangerous shot by Matty Robson in the 30th minute. Ben Ricketts showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gez Eyre in the 46th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when George Granger stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andy Coburn in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ben Ricketts prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Matty Robson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59th minute, Gez Eyre left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The White Eagles FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jake Conway during the 62nd minute. Ben Ricketts was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 95th minute, Ben Reid hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There was no doubt that White Eagles FC were the better team. White Eagles FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
