After 14 minutes of play, Stickleback Utd Xl's Ruben Gregory made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Shane Leadbeater was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet as Stickleback Utd Xl's Jhonny Del Fierro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Shane Leadbeater. That made the score 3-0 after 16 minutes of play. Shane Leadbeater was out of position in the 20 minute of play, and Kris Tetley capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Kris Tetley really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. Manchester Liverpool F.C.'s Shane Leadbeater played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gary Pettifer in the 32nd minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 33 minutes, Shane Leadbeater successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Stickleback Utd Xl's Jhonny Del Fierro in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Dylon Howson charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dylon Howson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Shane Leadbeater made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kris Tetley in the 47th minute.

Stickleback Utd Xl made a substitution. Stephen Clapham replaced Kris Tetley. Stickleback Utd Xl's Darryl Howlett was substituted for Rareș Ozon. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dylon Howson was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ruben Gregory in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Shane Leadbeater prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ruben Gregory got in the 57th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Shane Leadbeater handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Jhonny Del Fierro took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Shane Leadbeater. Shane Leadbeater dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. 61 minutes into the match, Jhonny Del Fierro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Shane Leadbeater. Manchester Liverpool F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jhonny Del Fierro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-0. Jhonny Del Fierro took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Shane Leadbeater. Shane Leadbeater dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 11-0. Stickleback Utd Xl made a substitution. Manchester Liverpool F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 13-0. Shane Leadbeater didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Stephen Clapham went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 14-0 was the resulting score. After 79 minutes of play, Stickleback Utd Xl's Stephen Clapham made it 15-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Shane Leadbeater was left in no man's land by his defense there! 88 minutes into the match, Manchester Liverpool F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Stephen Clapham came free, but Shane Leadbeater reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89thth minute of the game Stephen Clapham who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Manchester Liverpool F.C.'s Shane Leadbeater was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 90th minute, Glyn Maxell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 91st minute, Leo Gardener hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 96th minute Stephen Clapham shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shane Leadbeater saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Stickleback Utd Xl booed when Manchester Liverpool F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cody Gurney didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Ruben Gregory came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Stickleback Utd Xl fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ruben Gregory couldn't finish the play. There was no doubt that Stickleback Utd Xl were the better team. Stickleback Utd Xl's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
