In the 6th minute Marlon Hancock shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Travis Nethercott saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, The Wheeliebins's goal looked a bit too open when Marlon Hancock came free, but Travis Nethercott reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 13th minute, Jerry Lovett left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Show me da Mane fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. When Jerry Lovett came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Show me da Mane fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jerry Lovett couldn't finish the play. Kirk Fleetwood kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Jerry Lovett received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Travis Nethercott tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Marlon Hancock had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to The Wheeliebins getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Kirk Fleetwood hit a great ball. 41 minutes into the match, The Wheeliebins's goal looked a bit too open when Marlon Hancock came free, but Travis Nethercott reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, Show me da Mane's goal looked a bit too open when Lee Rush came free, but Sidney Sparks reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner ended in Larry Blackwood almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Show me da Mane's Sidney Sparks did a great save. In the 48th match minute, Show me da Mane was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marlon Hancock to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Murdock Askew made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Murdock Askew in the 54th minute of play forced Show me da Mane's goalkeeper Sidney Sparks to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, The Wheeliebins's Kirk Fleetwood got a free kick in the 55th minute. Travis Nethercott was a little too slow when Marlon Hancock got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 56th minute. The score was now 0-3. 60 minutes into the game, John-Paul Barkley was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Show me da Mane's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The Wheeliebins the free kick. The supporters of The Wheeliebins booed when Show me da Mane was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. John-Paul Barkley didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lee Rush received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Sidney Sparks tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sidney Sparks showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ian Beesley in the 75th minute of the match. Travis Nethercott made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerry Lovett in the 76th minute of play. Dean Halliday kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. In the 79th minute, The Wheeliebins's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Marlon Hancock fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After having played for 81 minutes, Marlon Hancock managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Show me da Mane's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marlon Hancock was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sidney Sparks didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lee Rush went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score.
