Chaz Patton was slow to take the kick. During this time Bristol Bombardiers FC's players had a chance to rest. Bristol Bombardiers FC's Chaz Patton was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Hannes Sandwall in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Mickey Thompson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oscar Drake in the 26th minute of the match. If Kurt Lobb had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hannes Sandwall showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manu Louke, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Kurt Lobb received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Hannes Sandwall tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Gol in the 43rd minute of play forced Bristol Bombardiers FC's goalkeeper Mickey Thompson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Oscar Drake to make the kick off. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Bristol Bombardiers FC's goalie and right to Alan Young. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Bristol Bombardiers FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Martin Ericsson's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Mickey Thompson firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 57th match minute, Bristol Bombardiers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kurt Lobb to maneuver through the defense. In the 62nd minute of the match, Alan Young got a very nice opportunity to score, but Mickey Thompson was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Hannes Sandwall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chaz Patton in the 64th minute of play. Oscar Drakes short, quick shot in the 66thth minute got Mickey Thompson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Bristol Bombardiers FC booed when Leicester Foxes Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felipe Gol didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leicester Foxes Academy made a substitution. Peter Pennant replaced Oscar Drake. In the 70th minute, Felipe Gol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mickey Thompson made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Peter Pennant sent off a good shot on target. Alan Young fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mickey Thompson having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Leicester Foxes Academy's Theo Crossley got a free kick in the 85th minute. Hannes Sandwall showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kurt Lobb, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Mickey Thompson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alan Young in the 87th minute. In the 88th minute of the match Alan Young sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mickey Thompson skillfully saved the ball. In the 92nd minute, Felipe Gol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hannes Sandwall showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kurt Lobb in the 93rd minute of the match. With a little luck, Bristol Bombardiers FC's Mickey Thompson got control of the ball when Peter Pennant tried to sneak it across the goal line. Leicester Foxes Academy were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Bristol Bombardiers FC to leave the ground with a draw.
