Spectators: 8394 (Terracing: 6298, Seating: 1930, VIP seats: 166) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Murat Oncu started the match with the kick off. After having played for 4 minutes, Murat Oncu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. islahiye spor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Murat Oncu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 余义枫 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 10th minute, islahiye spor's Murat Oncu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Marlon Hedley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Murat Oncu in the 18th minute of the match. When Jay Downing got free in front of the goal in the 24th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Rainer Seltorp was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 余义枫 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 30 minutes into the game, Mark Kendall was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Battersea's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave islahiye spor the free kick. A collision led to Battersea getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Mark Kendall hit a great ball. Murat Oncu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marlon Hedley having to make a save. Rainer Seltorp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kristopher Hilditch, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 39th minute, 余义枫 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marlon Hedley was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Murat Oncu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marlon Hedley having to interfere. Murat Oncu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marlon Hedley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Murat Oncu in the 68th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by 余义枫 in the 70th minute of play forced Battersea's goalkeeper Marlon Hedley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kris Devine took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marlon Hedley. Marlon Hedley dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. In the 81stth minute of the game 余义枫 who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Battersea's Marlon Hedley was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 84th minute, 余义枫 left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The islahiye spor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. 余义枫 might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marlon Hedley. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. 余义枫 ran back to his position shaking his head. islahiye spor walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
