Truly Unruly
Spectators: 8519 (Terracing: 6390, Seating: 1959, VIP seats: 170) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Syd Parkinson kicked off to start the match. If Johnny Moxon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Washinkai Warriors's Benji Hanson got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joe Kendall recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Washinkai Warriors's Richie Postolan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Max Adcock in the 12th minute of play. The supporters of Washinkai Warriors booed when Unruly Behaviour FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miles Needham didn't get a good kick on the ball. Richie Postolan was out of position in the 16 minute of play, and Max Adcock capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Max Adcock really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. When Washinkai Warriors's Benji Hanson in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Unruly Behaviour FC's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Washinkai Warriors getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Marcin Cebula hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Washinkai Warriors's zone, Syd Parkinson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Richie Postolan came out of the goal and Syd Parkinson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joe Kendall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Martyn Wicks tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27th minute Johnny Moxon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Richie Postolan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes had been played when some careless play by Washinkai Warriors's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Theo Sykes was slow to take the kick. During this time Unruly Behaviour FC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Theo Sykes got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Richie Postolan quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Unruly Behaviour FC's Martyn Wicks played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joe Kendall in the 30th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Joe Kendall managed to get in a good position for a shot. Washinkai Warriors's supporters rose to their feet, but Joe Kendall was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martyn Wicks breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Joe Kendall struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Martyn Wicks didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Washinkai Warriors. 41 minutes into the match, Unruly Behaviour FC's goal looked a bit too open when Calvin Clark came free, but Martyn Wicks reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Johnny Moxon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Richie Postolan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Max Adcock got free with Richie Postolan in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Washinkai Warriors's goalkeeper Richie Postolan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benji Hanson to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 59 minutes, Joe Kendall managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Washinkai Warriors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joe Kendall was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Martyn Wicks showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Calvin Clark in the 61st minute of the match. Jude Pyrah kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. After 64 played minutes Unruly Behaviour FC got a freekick which was hit by Jude Pyrah. Martyn Wicks made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benji Hanson in the 65th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Unruly Behaviour FC's Miles Needham got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 68th minute, Miles Needham hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Richie Postolan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Syd Parkinson, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Benji Hanson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 84 minutes into the match, Unruly Behaviour FC's goal looked a bit too open when Calvin Clark came free, but Martyn Wicks reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 84 played minutes Unruly Behaviour FC got a freekick which was hit by Donald Simpson. Martyn Wicks made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benji Hanson in the 85th minute. 86 minutes had been played when some careless play by Unruly Behaviour FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Benji Hanson was slow to take the kick. During this time Washinkai Warriors's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Benji Hanson got away a dangerous shot. Glenn Hutchinsons short, quick shot in the 86thth minute got Martyn Wicks to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.
