CHK Eagles's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Todd Griffiths was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Marc Armstrong's late challenge caught a CHK Eagles's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marc Armstrong helped the player get up and apologised. The CHK Eagles players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Heavenly Hooters were winning 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Matty Gold made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Todd Griffiths's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Patrick Colbert was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. Patrick Colbert made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Saverio Ribeiro sent off a good shot on target. Lennie Rusby made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zane Humphreys in the 66th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Heavenly Hooters's Isac Vornicu got a free kick in the 66th minute. If Brandon Wright had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jake Grayson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrick Colbert having to interfere. In the 92nd match minute, CHK Eagles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacek Literski to maneuver through the defense. Patrick Colbert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Luiz de Moraes in the 93rd minute of the match. Patrick Colbert stood somewhat misplaced when Saverio Ribeiro came free in front of goal and shot 1-4 to the left of him in the 95 minute.
