Marc Ploughman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lance Luke, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 12th minute of the game, Pierre Smart landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vince Riad during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Keepzilla FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vicenza Wanderers the free kick. Vince Riad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Paulino Igrejas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
