The referee ignored Brickhouse FC's protests and gave Liam Appleton a yellow card for diving instead. In the 2nd match minute, Brickhouse FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Liam Appleton to maneuver through the defense. Dragoş Gafița showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matty Gold, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. The supporters of Brickhouse FC booed when CHK Eagles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rio Wiley didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rio Wiley got a throw-in 31 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Richard Stonehouse. Terry Barfield's late challenge caught a CHK Eagles's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Terry Barfield helped the player get up and apologised. Terry Barfield hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Dragoş Gafița showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matty Gold, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 39th minute, Matty Gold left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CHK Eagles fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gavin Swain during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of CHK Eagles booed when Brickhouse FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gavin Swain didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, CHK Eagles's Matty Gold got a free kick in the 46th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Brickhouse FC's Dragoş Gafița played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matty Gold in the 53rd minute of play. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Brickhouse FC's goalie and right to Edward Wood. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Brickhouse FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 61st minute Matty Gold shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dragoş Gafița saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Matty Gold took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Dragoş Gafița to make any attempt to save it. Brickhouse FC's Fabian Hylander was substituted for Gavin Swain. In the 75th minute Liam Appleton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrick Colbert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the CHK Eagles defense, Neil Logan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Patrick Colbert. The CHK Eagles fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Patrick Colbert should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Neil Logan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brickhouse FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Neil Logan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patrick Colbert breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Brickhouse FC's zone, Edward Wood stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dragoş Gafița came out of the goal and Edward Wood tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Liam Appleton in the 95th minute of play forced CHK Eagles's goalkeeper Patrick Colbert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Brickhouse FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching CHK Eagles's performance. The match ended with a win for CHK Eagles.
