Gyuro Angeliev made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Gyuro Angeliev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mitch Furniss, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. The audience was convinced that Carl Downes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gyuro Angeliev was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. After some careless play in the Ilfracombe defense, Ionuț Mureșan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gyuro Angeliev. The Ilfracombe fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gyuro Angeliev should have stopped the shot. A collision led to The Tigers getting a freekick after 43 minutes play.
