Richárd Bódog hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jason Seagrave in the 3rd minute of play forced Heavenly Hooters's goalkeeper Lennie Rusby to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Hockley AFC's zone, Todd Griffiths stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucas Collier came out of the goal and Todd Griffiths tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 6 minutes into the match, Hockley AFC's Leo Bell sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lennie Rusby narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lucas Collier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Luiz de Moraes in the 7th minute of the match. If Todd Griffiths had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Saverio Ribeiro struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Lucas Collier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Heavenly Hooters. Lucas Collier didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Todd Griffiths went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 16th minute, Trevor Lyons hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lucas Collier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Luiz de Moraes in the 19th minute of play. Pedro Luiz de Moraes took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lucas Collier. Lucas Collier dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Lennie Rusby made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Trevor Lyons sent off a good shot on target. Austen Merchant hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. 31 minutes into the match, Heavenly Hooters's goalkeeper Lennie Rusby had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Trevor Lyons. Pedro Luiz de Moraes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Lucas Collier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Todd Griffiths in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lucas Collier prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lennie Rusby showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joseph Hubbard, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After some careless play in the Heavenly Hooters defense, Isaac Mead kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lennie Rusby. The Heavenly Hooters fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lennie Rusby should have stopped the shot. Heavenly Hooters's Lennie Rusby proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Heavenly Hooters from getting a goal against them. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Todd Griffiths was the one to do the kick off. Lucas Collier made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Todd Griffiths sent off a good shot on target. Heavenly Hooters's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Saverio Ribeiro in the 56th minute. Saverio Ribeiro made a great header on Heavenly Hooters's corner, it was just that Hockley AFC's Lucas Collier managed to reach the ball for a save. 59 minutes into the match, Heavenly Hooters's Saverio Ribeiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lucas Collier narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hockley AFC's Jason Seagrave got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hockley AFC's Lucas Collier proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Hockley AFC from getting a goal against them. With his leg Lucas Collier managed to avoid a goal in the 77thth minute, when Heavenly Hooters's Pedro Luiz de Moraes fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, Hockley AFC's Jason Seagrave got a free kick in the 78th minute. Heavenly Hooters made a substitution. Adrian Collier replaced Richárd Bódog. Saverio Ribeiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Hockley AFC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Lawrence Crayon hit a great ball. Todd Griffiths kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. In the 96th minute of the match Austen Merchant sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lennie Rusby skillfully saved the ball. The Heavenly Hooters players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
