Marc Ploughman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Luiz de Moraes in the 13th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, Todd Griffiths made a precise shot to the right of Marc Ploughman. Vicenza Wanderers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 17 minutes into the game, Heavenly Hooters's Pedro Luiz de Moraes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marc Ploughman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Marc Ploughman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Luiz de Moraes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Todd Griffiths in the 22nd minute of play forced Vicenza Wanderers's goalkeeper Marc Ploughman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brandon Wright took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marc Ploughman. Marc Ploughman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. Marc Ploughman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Todd Griffiths, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 42nd match minute, Heavenly Hooters was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Richárd Bódog to maneuver through the defense. Marc Ploughman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saverio Ribeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-7.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Todd Griffiths stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marc Ploughman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Todd Griffiths went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. In the 55th minute Heavenly Hooters were awarded a corner. Saverio Ribeiro went to the cornerflag to take it. After 55 played minutes Vicenza Wanderers got a freekick which was hit by Vince Riad. Vicenza Wanderers's Marc Ploughman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Vicenza Wanderers from getting a goal against them. In the 60th minute, Todd Griffiths left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Heavenly Hooters fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-9. A collision led to Heavenly Hooters getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Shane Beesley hit a great ball. In the 67th minute, Richárd Bódog hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marc Ploughman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Todd Griffiths in the 71st minute. In the 74th match minute, Vicenza Wanderers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Richie Hellen to maneuver through the defense. Heavenly Hooters's Adrian Collier was substituted for Richárd Bódog. Heavenly Hooters made a substitution. Camron Blain replaced Shane Beesley. After 75 played minutes Vicenza Wanderers got a freekick which was hit by Richie Hellen. Marc Ploughman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Saverio Ribeiro in the 94th minute. After 95 played minutes Vicenza Wanderers got a freekick which was hit by Phillip Leeson. Heavenly Hooters's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
