Bartosz Soliwoda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jordan Gill, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. If Edward Wood had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 29th minute Edward Wood shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bartosz Soliwoda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Anfield Elite getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Fitz Bloom hit a great ball. 32 minutes had been played when some careless play by Anfield Elite's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jordan Gill was slow to take the kick. During this time CHK Eagles's players had a chance to rest. Santo Serra made a great header on CHK Eagles's corner, it was just that Anfield Elite's Bartosz Soliwoda managed to reach the ball for a save. Santo Serra made in the 35th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Anfield Elite's Phillip Armitstead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fitz Bloom in the 74th minute of play forced CHK Eagles's goalkeeper Patrick Colbert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
