SEA THE STARS's David Linford played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yiğitcan Tugal in the 23rd minute of play. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by SEA THE STARS's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ive Volckaerts was slow to take the kick. During this time Real Death Ducks's players had a chance to rest. The audience was convinced that Franklin de Queiroz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but David Linford was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Franklin de Queiroz had several of the SEA THE STARS's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 84 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-7 score and a disappointed David Linford as he didn't even see the shot coming. If Robin Hultstrand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robin Hultstrand fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Linford having to interfere. Franklin de Queiroz took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised David Linford. David Linford dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. The Real Death Ducks supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Real Death Ducks would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
