After some careless play in the SEA THE STARS defense, Tod McCartney kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gaz Short. The SEA THE STARS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gaz Short should have stopped the shot. In the 80th minute, Freddy Vine made a precise shot to the right of Gaz Short. SEA THE STARS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Freddy Vine in the 85th minute of play forced SEA THE STARS's goalkeeper Gaz Short to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Freddy Vine's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gaz Short was relentless in the 88th minute of the game.
