Spectators: 8414 (Terracing: 6311, Seating: 1935, VIP seats: 168) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Francis Curtis took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 12th minute Niceto Ramirez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Linford saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Corinthians FC's Teodoro Hondaro got a free kick in the 14th minute. After having played for 19 minutes, Marlon Higginson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SEA THE STARS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marlon Higginson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Corinthians FC's goalkeeper Torstein Stenseth, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. SEA THE STARS's David Linford played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francis Curtis in the 26th minute of play. Torstein Stenseth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eddie Power, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. After 28 minutes, Jeremy Reeve mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SEA THE STARS and the Corinthians FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to SEA THE STARS getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Jeremy Reeve hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marlon Higginson in the 32nd minute of play forced Corinthians FC's goalkeeper Torstein Stenseth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eddie Power hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Marlon Higginson's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Torstein Stenseth firmly grabbed it by the left post. David Linford showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Len Woolford, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. 45 minutes had been played when some careless play by SEA THE STARS's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Len Woolford was slow to take the kick. During this time Corinthians FC's players had a chance to rest. Rodney Renwick made a great header on Corinthians FC's corner, it was just that SEA THE STARS's David Linford managed to reach the ball for a save. Niceto Ramirez took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised David Linford. David Linford dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 53rd minute, Jeremy Reeve hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Len Woolford managed to get in a good position for a shot. Corinthians FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Len Woolford was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Linford breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 59 played minutes SEA THE STARS got a freekick which was hit by Rodney Carsley. With a little luck, SEA THE STARS's David Linford got control of the ball when Len Woolford tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 61st minute of the game. One of SEA THE STARS:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Corinthians FC:s goal. SEA THE STARS:s David Linford showed great skill when he stopped Len Woolford:s penalty. After a rather tough play, Corinthians FC's Niceto Ramirez got a free kick in the 69th minute. David Linford made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Francis Curtis sent off a good shot on target. Ken Bell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torstein Stenseth having to interfere. The supporters of Corinthians FC booed when SEA THE STARS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eddie Power didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 97th minute, Roy Mortimer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
