Bengt-Arne Boberg's late challenge caught a Hilsea's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bengt-Arne Boberg helped the player get up and apologised. In the 5th match minute, Marble Hill Crows was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bengt-Arne Boberg to maneuver through the defense. Rory Downham could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Augustin Søvang made a huge save. 9 minutes into the game, Tummas Djurhuus was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Marble Hill Crows's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hilsea the free kick. In the 9th minute, Tummas Djurhuus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rory Downham took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Augustin Søvang. Augustin Søvang dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. When Marble Hill Crows's Mark Morning in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hilsea's goalie prevented a goal. John England took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mark Morning, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute Mark Morning shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but John England saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the game, Hilsea's Tristram Fuller nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Augustin Søvang made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Joseph Ansell charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joseph Ansell the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After having played for 32 minutes, Grzegorz Patora managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marble Hill Crows's supporters crossed their fingers, but Grzegorz Patora was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With his leg Augustin Søvang managed to avoid a goal in the 35thth minute, when Hilsea's Rory Downham fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Christopher Gray got free with Augustin Søvang in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 46 minutes of play, Hilsea's Rory Downham made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Augustin Søvang was left in no man's land by his defense there!
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Grzegorz Patora stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Augustin Søvang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tristram Fuller in the 51st minute of the match. After having played for 55 minutes, Grzegorz Patora managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marble Hill Crows's supporters crossed their fingers, but Grzegorz Patora was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 57 played minutes Hilsea got a freekick which was hit by Kenny Dobson. Grzegorz Patora in the 60thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of John England, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 61 minutes of play, Hilsea's Tristram Fuller made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Augustin Søvang was left in no man's land by his defense there! Augustin Søvang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christopher Gray in the 65th minute of play. After 86 played minutes Hilsea got a freekick which was hit by Kenny Dobson. With his leg John England managed to avoid a goal in the 90thth minute, when Marble Hill Crows's Grzegorz Patora fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. There was no doubt that Hilsea were the better team. Hilsea's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
