In the 38th minute, Jeffrey Postolan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Kurt Tandy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dersingham City's supporters rose to their feet, but Kurt Tandy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Barney Flack was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Graham Hill came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Tynemouth Wanderers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Graham Hill couldn't finish the play. Pierre Gould received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Liam Langley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rio Emberson got free with Liam Langley in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Despite being the better team, Tynemouth Wanderers failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
