Spectators: 8572 (Terracing: 6431, Seating: 1971, VIP seats: 170) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Pierre Gould started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute Cacá Mangione shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barney Flack saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, Goo Goo Dolls's Olimpiu Dragnea sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Barney Flack narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tynemouth Wanderers's Barney Flack proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Tynemouth Wanderers from getting a goal against them. With his leg Barney Flack managed to avoid a goal in the 14thth minute, when Goo Goo Dolls's Cacá Mangione fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 17 minutes into the game, Cacá Mangione lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Barney Flack. 20 minutes into the match, Goo Goo Dolls's Cacá Mangione sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Barney Flack narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Benjamin Cuss made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bob Sandell in the 21st minute of play. Barney Flack showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cacá Mangione in the 25th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the match, Tynemouth Wanderers's goal looked a bit too open when Cacá Mangione came free, but Barney Flack reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 32 minutes, Barney Flack successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 36 minutes of play, Goo Goo Dolls's Olimpiu Dragnea made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Barney Flack was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Tynemouth Wanderers's Keanu Sollit got a free kick in the 40th minute. 41 minutes into the match, Tynemouth Wanderers's goal looked a bit too open when Olimpiu Dragnea came free, but Barney Flack reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teddy Ball hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match.

Tynemouth Wanderers's Barney Flack played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cacá Mangione in the 52nd minute of play. Barney Flack showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cacá Mangione in the 54th minute of the match. Goo Goo Dolls's Kenny Anson was substituted for Dom Rusby. Matteo Gillis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Matteo Gillis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Olimpiu Dragnea took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Barney Flack. Barney Flack dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. After a rather tough play, Goo Goo Dolls's Gerry Greenfield got a free kick in the 68th minute. Barney Flack showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Lane, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Tynemouth Wanderers's Graham Hill was substituted for Jeffrey Postolan. In the 76th minute Felix Lane shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barney Flack saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pierre Gould fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Cuss having to interfere. Tynemouth Wanderers's Barney Flack played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olimpiu Dragnea in the 86th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cacá Mangione in the 87th minute of play forced Tynemouth Wanderers's goalkeeper Barney Flack to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute Felix Lane shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barney Flack saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Tynemouth Wanderers's Peter Hazell got a free kick in the 92nd minute. In the 93rdth minute of the game Cacá Mangione who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tynemouth Wanderers's Barney Flack was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 95th minute, Cacá Mangione ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Barney Flack was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Goo Goo Dolls had played much better football throughout.
