In the 7th match minute, SEA THE STARS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marlon Higginson to maneuver through the defense. Ken Bell kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. David Linford showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex Gibson, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Ennio Orsini made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Ken Bell sent off a good shot on target. 13 minutes into the match, SEA THE STARS's goal looked a bit too open when Cléberson Mendonça came free, but David Linford reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With 16 minutes on the clock, Cody Sheppard commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 20th minute Cléberson Mendonça shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Linford saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Clapham Rovers's João Francisco Toscano in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Ken Bell could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Ennio Orsini made a huge save. When Clapham Rovers's Cléberson Mendonça in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 42ndth minute of the game Cléberson Mendonça who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SEA THE STARS's David Linford was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. David Linford showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrian Moss in the 44th minute of the match. After some careless play in the SEA THE STARS defense, Cléberson Mendonça kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of David Linford. The SEA THE STARS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that David Linford should have stopped the shot. The SEA THE STARS players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Clapham Rovers were winning 0-2.

55 minutes into the game, João Francisco Toscano recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of David Linford. João Francisco Toscano showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. David Linford made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cléberson Mendonça in the 59th minute. When João Francisco Toscano was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 60 minutes had been played. João Francisco Toscano hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. After having played for 62 minutes, Eddie Power managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SEA THE STARS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eddie Power was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cléberson Mendonças short, quick shot in the 65thth minute got David Linford to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Eddie Power received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Ennio Orsini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cléberson Mendonça recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jools Holland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Linford having to interfere. Donny Stockton charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Donny Stockton the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 82 minutes into the match, SEA THE STARS's goalkeeper David Linford had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jools Holland. If Jools Holland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 85 minutes, Ken Bell mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SEA THE STARS and the Clapham Rovers players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ken Bell hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. With his leg David Linford managed to avoid a goal in the 88thth minute, when Clapham Rovers's Jools Holland fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a little luck, SEA THE STARS's David Linford got control of the ball when Jools Holland tried to sneak it across the goal line. 93 minutes into the match, Jools Holland dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of David Linford, 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jools Holland in the 98th minute of play forced SEA THE STARS's goalkeeper David Linford to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The SEA THE STARS fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Clapham Rovers were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
