Spectators: 8464 (Terracing: 6349, Seating: 1946, VIP seats: 169) Goo Goo Dolls's Cacá Mangione started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Nottingham Forest's Bryan Stride played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cacá Mangione in the 11th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Cacá Mangione put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Bryan Stride. 16 minutes into the game, Goo Goo Dolls's Cacá Mangione nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bryan Stride made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. After 19 minutes, Cacá Mangione made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. Nottingham Forest's Bryan Stride tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 24th minute, Nottingham Forest's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gerry Greenfield fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Benjamin Cuss took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jack Bridgeworth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Russ Westlake fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Cuss having to interfere. After 28 minutes, Cacá Mangione made it 7-0 with a short kick to the right side. Nottingham Forest's Bryan Stride tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Cacá Mangione might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bryan Stride. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cacá Mangione ran back to his position shaking his head. Cacá Mangione received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bryan Stride came out and tried to block the shot, but Cacá Mangione slotted it home off the left post making it 8-0 in the 32nd minute. Bryan Stride stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cacá Mangione's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Gerry Greenfield kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bryan Stride. That made the score 9-0 in the 37 minute of play. Dom Rusbys short, quick shot in the 41stth minute got Bryan Stride to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Nottingham Forest's Bryan Stride played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cacá Mangione in the 45th minute of play. A collision led to Nottingham Forest getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Jack Bridgeworth hit a great ball. 47 minutes into the match, Cacá Mangione notched a goal, 10-0, to the right of Nottingham Forest's Bryan Stride. Bryan Stride was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 10-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jack Bridgeworth stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bryan Stride came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Goo Goo Dolls's Cacá Mangione. But to his dismay, Cacá Mangione quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 11-0. Bryan Stride didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cacá Mangione went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 12-0 was the resulting score. In the 60th minute, Felix Lane made a precise shot to the right of Bryan Stride. Nottingham Forest's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 13-0. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Cacá Mangione put it in 14-0 from a short distance just to the right of Bryan Stride. Cacá Mangione took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bryan Stride. Bryan Stride dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 15-0. Olimpiu Dragnea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 72 minutes, Thomas Bamford mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nottingham Forest and the Goo Goo Dolls players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Nottingham Forest getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Thomas Bamford hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 74 minutes, the score became 16-0 when Cacá Mangione sped through Nottingham Forest's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bryan Stride. In the 78th minute, Olimpiu Dragnea left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Goo Goo Dolls fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 17-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cacá Mangione in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bryan Stride prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 86 minutes into the match, Nottingham Forest's goal looked a bit too open when Cacá Mangione came free, but Bryan Stride reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87thth minute of the game Cacá Mangione who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nottingham Forest's Bryan Stride was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 89 minutes of play, Goo Goo Dolls's Cacá Mangione made it 19-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bryan Stride was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cacá Mangione in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bryan Stride prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 94th minute Goo Goo Dolls were awarded a corner. Gianluca Infante went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Gianluca Infante almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Nottingham Forest's Bryan Stride did a great save. In the 95th minute, Cacá Mangione made a precise shot to the right of Bryan Stride. Nottingham Forest's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 20-0. Goo Goo Dolls's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
