The 95th Rifles's Sol Philpott played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabinho Pitta in the 33rd minute of play. When Arnulfo Francho came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the The Engineers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arnulfo Francho couldn't finish the play. Ludomir Bartochowski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sol Philpott read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. 47 minutes into the game, Arnulfo Francho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The Engineers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The 95th Rifles the free kick. Arnulfo Francho kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fabinho Pitta to make the kick off. Rupert Small kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. If Ludomir Bartochowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Arnulfo Francho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mats Spetz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kieran Floyd took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mats Spetz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mats Spetz might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kieran Floyd. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mats Spetz ran back to his position shaking his head. After 94 played minutes The Engineers got a freekick which was hit by Hong Peng Liang.
