Spectators: 8504 (Terracing: 6378, Seating: 1956, VIP seats: 170) Ben Buchanan started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 4th minute Ben Buchanan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Kirk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Leigh AFC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Pedro Mannell hit a great ball. Lucas Kirk stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Don Longden's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. Lucas Kirk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johannes Wennerström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 12 played minutes Osfinch FC got a freekick which was hit by Daniel De Fremeaux. Lucas Kirk made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Don Longden sent off a good shot on target. 21 minutes into the match, Kris Mulford notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Osfinch FC's Stefan Cullen. Stefan Cullen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lucas Kirk stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel De Fremeaux's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Jeff Conway kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Leigh AFC's Pedro Mannell got a free kick in the 27th minute. Lucas Kirk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ben Buchanan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes into the match, Don Longden had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lucas Kirk. Leigh AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Don Longden was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Osfinch FC's Don Longden slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lucas Kirk. That made the score 2-1 after 35 minutes of play. Leigh AFC's Lucas Kirk proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Leigh AFC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Don Longden in the 39th minute of play forced Leigh AFC's goalkeeper Lucas Kirk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Ben Buchanan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lucas Kirk. That made the score 3-1 in the 46 minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Kris Mulford made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Leigh AFC booed when Osfinch FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carl Walmsley didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Don Longden in the 56th minute of play forced Leigh AFC's goalkeeper Lucas Kirk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeff Conway lost his temper 58 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. If Cornelius Ritchie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that Don Longden's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lucas Kirk was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. Lucas Kirk didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ben Buchanan went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. In the 70th minute, Don Longden ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lucas Kirk was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. Leigh AFC made a substitution. James Watkins replaced Blair Nancy. Lucas Kirk came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Osfinch FC's Daniel De Fremeaux. But to his dismay, Daniel De Fremeaux quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ben Buchanan in the 80th minute of play forced Leigh AFC's goalkeeper Lucas Kirk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leigh AFC made a substitution. Ricky Anson replaced Dean Southgate. The supporters of Osfinch FC booed when Leigh AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrew Colman didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 86th minute, Ben Buchanan made a precise shot to the right of Lucas Kirk. Leigh AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-1. Lucas Kirk came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Osfinch FC's Don Longden. But to his dismay, Don Longden quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-1. 93 minutes into the match, Don Longden had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lucas Kirk. Leigh AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Don Longden was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-1. Lucas Kirk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johannes Wennerström in the 96th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Osfinch FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
