Alvino Serre was slow to take the kick. During this time Ampthill FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Ampthill FC's Alvino Serre to fire away a dangerous shot which Eugen Remus despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The supporters of Greenbay booed when Ampthill FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Speed didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eugen Remus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Calvin Townsley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 18 minutes, Bernardo Abeijon successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 18th minute of the match, Will Alderson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bernardo Abeijon saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Eugen Remus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Calvin Townsley in the 20th minute of the match. Bernardo Abeijon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Will Alderson, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. The throw-in from Nial Messenger in the 27th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Ampthill FC's Orhan Ortanca. Bernardo Abeijon stood somewhat misplaced when Will Alderson came free in front of goal and shot 1-1 to the left of him in the 28 minute. After 30 minutes, Mesut Özil mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Greenbay and the Ampthill FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 33 minutes into the match, Ampthill FC's goalkeeper Bernardo Abeijon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Will Alderson. Alvino Serre blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eugen Remus having to make a save. 38 minutes into the match, Greenbay's Will Alderson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bernardo Abeijon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 41st minute, Calvin Townsley got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Ampthill FC's Sebastian Speed got a free kick in the 42nd minute. In the 44th minute Calvin Townsley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugen Remus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th minute, Dylan Beck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Will Alderson made a kick off. Calvin Townsley could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Eugen Remus made a huge save. After 54 minutes of play, Ampthill FC's Calvin Townsley made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eugen Remus was left in no man's land by his defense there! Greenbay's Eugen Remus proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Greenbay from getting a goal against them. The Greenbay fans' excitement grew in the 63rd match minute when Greenbay's Will Alderson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tyler Morton in the 68th minute of play forced Ampthill FC's goalkeeper Bernardo Abeijon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ampthill FC's Bernardo Abeijon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tyler Morton in the 72nd minute of play. Greenbay's Ashley Ross was substituted for Will Alderson. Bernardo Abeijon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ashley Ross in the 77th minute of the match. Eugen Remus made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Calvin Townsley sent off a good shot on target. If Mesut Özil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 92 minutes, Calvin Townsley managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ampthill FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Calvin Townsley was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Despite being the better team, Greenbay failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
