In the 4th minute Sammy Corcoran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sofoklis Prinianakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sofoklis Prinianakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sammy Corcoran, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Sofoklis Prinianakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sammy Corcoran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sammy Corcoran in the 8th minute of play forced Henley on Thames United's goalkeeper Sofoklis Prinianakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute Carl Houghton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolas Joey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 13 minutes, Sofoklis Prinianakis successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 15 minutes into the game, Júlio Severo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sofoklis Prinianakis. Júlio Severo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Sofoklis Prinianakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sammy Corcoran in the 20th minute of play. Nicolas Joey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kristian Ottaway in the 21st minute of the match. 22 minutes into the match, FC ARK CS's goal looked a bit too open when Kristian Ottaway came free, but Nicolas Joey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 24 minutes Henley on Thames United's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sammy Corcoran who took care of the corner kick. When Henley on Thames United's Jake Marriott in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC ARK CS's goalie prevented a goal. Sofoklis Prinianakis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Júlio Severo in the 28th minute. 32 minutes into the match, Henley on Thames United's goal looked a bit too open when Sammy Corcoran came free, but Sofoklis Prinianakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sofoklis Prinianakis made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Júlio Severo sent off a good shot on target. In the 34th minute, Sammy Corcoran got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kristian Ottaway fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolas Joey having to interfere. 40 minutes into the match, FC ARK CS's goal looked a bit too open when Kristian Ottaway came free, but Nicolas Joey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Henley on Thames United's Jake Marriott got a free kick in the 42nd minute. After 44 played minutes FC ARK CS got a freekick which was hit by Yiğit Hasan. Jake Marriott received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Nicolas Joey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edgar Lang to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Sammy Corcoran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sofoklis Prinianakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Júlio Severo in the 54th minute of play forced Henley on Thames United's goalkeeper Sofoklis Prinianakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henley on Thames United's João Vítor Donato was substituted for Grant Sherwood. Sofoklis Prinianakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Júlio Severo in the 68th minute of the match. Kristian Ottaway received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nicolas Joey came out and tried to block the shot, but Kristian Ottaway slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 81st minute. A collision led to FC ARK CS getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Jamal Blackwood hit a great ball. Henley on Thames United made a substitution. Huey Claydon replaced Joe Wright. Jamal Blackwood kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Nicolas Joey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kristian Ottaway in the 86th minute of the match. Sofoklis Prinianakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgar Lang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st minute, Carl Houghton left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Henley on Thames United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, Rowan Ryder took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Nicolas Joey to make any attempt to save it. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Henley on Thames United walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
