In the 8th match minute, Astreix&ObelixSoccer was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nat Firth to maneuver through the defense. Astreix&ObelixSoccer's Martyon Diehl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gregory Brent in the 9th minute of play. Dave Di Gregorio in the 11thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Clive Blacksmith, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With his leg Clive Blacksmith managed to avoid a goal in the 11thth minute, when Astreix&ObelixSoccer's Dave Di Gregorio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Liam Bray got free with Clive Blacksmith in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The corner led Astreix&ObelixSoccer's Sacha Lilley to fire away a dangerous shot which Clive Blacksmith despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 16th minute, Valter Abreu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Astreix&ObelixSoccer's Martyon Diehl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eloy Truylos in the 21st minute of play. Dave Di Gregorio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Clive Blacksmith read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Valter Abreu made in the 39th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Conan Welsh immediately put the ball in play. In the 41st minute, Dave Di Gregorio reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Clive Blacksmith. The goal made the score 2-0. Jonathan Willetts received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Clive Blacksmith came out and tried to block the shot, but Jonathan Willetts slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 44th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gregory Brent was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dave Di Gregorio in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Clive Blacksmith saved Chippenham from getting behind. Clive Blacksmith showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Liam Bray in the 55th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dave Di Gregorio in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Clive Blacksmith saved Chippenham from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Liam Bray in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Clive Blacksmith prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 61 minutes into the match, Astreix&ObelixSoccer's Liam Bray sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Clive Blacksmith narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Astreix&ObelixSoccer's Dave Di Gregorio got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Astreix&ObelixSoccer made a substitution. Manuel Viñaspre replaced Cent Salomonsen. Chippenham's Andrew Boatman was substituted for Conan Welsh. Chippenham's Kris Morning was substituted for 杨远益. Astreix&ObelixSoccer made a substitution. Peng Qi Chong replaced Dave Di Gregorio. 65 minutes into the game, Astreix&ObelixSoccer's Peng Qi Chong nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Clive Blacksmith made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. 68 minutes into the match, Chippenham's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Willetts came free, but Clive Blacksmith reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Clive Blacksmith stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Liam Bray's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. A nice corner shot did that Peng Qi Chong got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Clive Blacksmith quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peng Qi Chong in the 74th minute of play forced Chippenham's goalkeeper Clive Blacksmith to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Chippenham defense, Peng Qi Chong kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Clive Blacksmith. The Chippenham fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Clive Blacksmith should have stopped the shot. After 84 minutes Chippenham's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Peng Qi Chong who took care of the corner kick. After a rather tough play, Chippenham's Dragan Gold got a free kick in the 87th minute. 92 minutes into the match, Jonathan Willetts notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Chippenham's Clive Blacksmith. Clive Blacksmith was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Chippenham getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Rui Simões hit a great ball. Peng Qi Chong took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 95th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Clive Blacksmith. Chippenham's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Chippenham's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
