The tension between the Mordham FC and the Ampthill FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jeremy Horseman received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bernardo Abeijon came out and tried to block the shot, but Jeremy Horseman slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 28th minute. Mordham FC's Tiger Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Calvin Townsley in the 37th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Jack Potts notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Mordham FC's Tiger Kahn. Tiger Kahn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tiger Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gez Little, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Gez Little struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Tiger Kahn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ampthill FC. In the 45th minute Jack Potts shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiger Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mordham FC's Conan Froggatt was substituted for Jeremy Horseman. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Conan Froggatt was the one to do the kick off. Jack Potts recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bernardo Abeijon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conan Froggatt in the 57th minute of play. Mordham FC's Tiger Kahn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Mordham FC from getting a goal against them. If Conan Froggatt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 67 minutes into the match, Ampthill FC's goal looked a bit too open when Conan Froggatt came free, but Bernardo Abeijon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tiger Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvino Serre in the 69th minute of play. 70 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mordham FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Calvin Townsley was slow to take the kick. During this time Ampthill FC's players had a chance to rest. Calvin Townsley made a great header on Ampthill FC's corner, it was just that Mordham FC's Tiger Kahn managed to reach the ball for a save. Conan Froggatt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Abeijon having to interfere. Zack Alderson hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. 93 minutes into the match, Ampthill FC's goal looked a bit too open when Conan Froggatt came free, but Bernardo Abeijon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernardo Abeijon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conan Froggatt in the 94th minute of the match. Conan Froggatt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Abeijon having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Conan Froggatt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mordham FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Conan Froggatt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernardo Abeijon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
