Quentin Cobb showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Justin Collingwood in the 10th minute of the match. In the 13th minute of the match, Stu Myers tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nikolay Bonkov saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Quentin Cobb took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jasper Attwood, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute, Seb Towler reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nikolay Bonkov. The goal made the score 1-0. 28 minutes into the match, Garlic Eaters's goal looked a bit too open when Stu Myers came free, but Nikolay Bonkov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stu Myers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nikolay Bonkov having to interfere. Ryan Chivers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Seb Towler in the 35th minute of play forced Garlic Eaters's goalkeeper Nikolay Bonkov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Harlow AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Justin Collingwood came free, but Quentin Cobb reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Harlow AFC's Quentin Cobb played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jasper Attwood in the 45th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stu Myers stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tommy Hanley in the 50th minute of play forced Harlow AFC's goalkeeper Quentin Cobb to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nikolay Bonkov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stu Myers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sergiu Burdea struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Nikolay Bonkov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Harlow AFC. If Stu Myers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fitz Lambley could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Quentin Cobb made a huge save. Garlic Eaters's Nikolay Bonkov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gary Sewell in the 75th minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Harlow AFC's Stu Myers sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nikolay Bonkov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Harlow AFC booed when Garlic Eaters was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerry Cheeseman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nikolay Bonkov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gary Sewell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 84 minutes had been played when some careless play by Garlic Eaters's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ryan Chivers was slow to take the kick. During this time Harlow AFC's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Harlow AFC's corner Ryan Chivers fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Nikolay Bonkov quite easily take care of the ball. Nikolay Bonkov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stu Myers's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. In the 87th minute Stu Myers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nikolay Bonkov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 91 minutes, Gary Sewell managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Harlow AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gary Sewell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 94th minute, Stu Myers made a precise shot to the right of Nikolay Bonkov. Garlic Eaters's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Garlic Eaters's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
