Through an outstanding action, after 9 minutes, Dušan Ančic successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Racing Club Warwick were awarded a corner in the 10th minute after Club Atlético de Newell's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. 崔枫枫 took the corner. After taking down the ball on Racing Club Warwick's corner 魏平星 fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dušan Ančic quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Percival in the 15th minute of play forced Racing Club Warwick's goalkeeper Craig Osborn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute Club Atlético de Newell were awarded a corner. Arbi Newell went to the cornerflag to take it. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Pastor Eufemio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atlético de Newell's supporters rose to their feet, but Pastor Eufemio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Craig Osborn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Felix Hurren kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Club Atlético de Newell's Dušan Ančic played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 魏平星 in the 63rd minute of play. Gwyn Dixon hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. Simon Sundling sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
