Bennvar Nickler might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fabien Barthez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bennvar Nickler ran back to his position shaking his head. Fabien Barthez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bennvar Nickler in the 5th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bennvar Nickler in the 9th minute of play forced Egg Chasers FC's goalkeeper Fabien Barthez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabien Barthez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bennvar Nickler in the 11th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bennvar Nickler in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabien Barthez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fabien Barthez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bennvar Nickler, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. The supporters of Team Pogba booed when Egg Chasers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonny Wilkinson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Egg Chasers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sander Roeles came free, but Fabien Barthez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Egg Chasers FC's Fabien Barthez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bennvar Nickler in the 24th minute of play. If Bennvar Nickler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fabien Barthez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bennvar Nickler in the 28th minute of play. 36 minutes into the game, Sören Goethals was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Team Pogba's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Egg Chasers FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Team Pogba's Sören Goethals got a free kick in the 36th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matthew Brookman in the 38th minute of play forced Team Pogba's goalkeeper Lech Urban to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The throw-in from Kenny Duckworth in the 39th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Team Pogba's Sören Goethals. Fabien Barthez came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Team Pogba's Bennvar Nickler. But to his dismay, Bennvar Nickler quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 43 minutes into the match, Egg Chasers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sander Roeles came free, but Fabien Barthez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabien Barthez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sander Roeles, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sander Roeles made a kick off. With his leg Fabien Barthez managed to avoid a goal in the 53rdth minute, when Team Pogba's Bennvar Nickler fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Fabien Barthez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bennvar Nickler in the 54th minute. If Bennvar Nickler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bennvar Nicklers short, quick shot in the 60thth minute got Fabien Barthez to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 64th minute Matthew Brookman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lech Urban saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bennvar Nickler recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Team Pogba made a substitution. Casey Gough replaced Louie Mulford. Team Pogba's Alfred Orling was substituted for Máximo Čapo. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bennvar Nickler in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabien Barthez saved Egg Chasers FC from getting behind. Team Pogba's Lech Urban played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Groom in the 72nd minute of play. A throw-in in the 73rd minute of the game was made by Jonny Wilkinson with Joel Groom as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Sander Roeles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th minute Matthew Brookman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lech Urban saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Bennvar Nickler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 79 minutes into the match, Bennvar Nickler dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fabien Barthez, 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bennvar Nickler in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabien Barthez saved Egg Chasers FC from getting behind. The supporters of Team Pogba booed when Egg Chasers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jasper Delamore didn't get a good kick on the ball. Egg Chasers FC's Fabien Barthez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Egg Chasers FC from getting a goal against them. Bennvar Nickler might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fabien Barthez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bennvar Nickler ran back to his position shaking his head. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Team Pogba walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
