Seating: 2132, VIP seats: 184) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Samuel Farmer started the match with the kick off. Quentin Cobb took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steve Oliver, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Harlow AFC's Quentin Cobb played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuel Farmer in the 13th minute of play. Nickolaj Nickerson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcus Deacon having to make a save. Marcus Deacon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nickolaj Nickerson's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Quentin Cobb made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steve Oliver in the 27th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Mayo's goal looked a bit too open when Nickolaj Nickerson came free, but Marcus Deacon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nickolaj Nickerson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Nickolaj Nickerson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Marcus Deacon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nickolaj Nickerson in the 34th minute. In the 36th minute Samuel Farmer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Quentin Cobb saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcus Deacon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nickolaj Nickerson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 44 minutes into the match, Harlow AFC's Nickolaj Nickerson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcus Deacon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 47 minutes, German Lon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Harlow AFC and the Mayo players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Harlow AFC's German Lon got a free kick in the 47th minute. William Symons didn't quite understand what happened when in the 49 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Nickolaj Nickerson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Harlow AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nickolaj Nickerson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcus Deacon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Quentin Cobb showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Steve Oliver, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Frank Zappacosta kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Mayo made a substitution. Des Gill replaced Samuel Farmer. After 72 played minutes Harlow AFC got a freekick which was hit by Frank Zappacosta. Marcus Deacon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nickolaj Nickerson, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. After 82 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Harlow AFC! Gary Sewell hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. If Johnnie Osbourn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute Steve Oliver shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Quentin Cobb saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Harlow AFC's Quentin Cobb got control of the ball when Johnnie Osbourn tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Des Gill in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Quentin Cobb prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 98th minute of the match Mayo got a corner. Harlow AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Johnnie Osbourn ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Nathanial Pitts got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Quentin Cobb quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Mayo's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
