Pete Munroe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carter Rulli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. Mark Booth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carter Rulli having to interfere. The Coventry Wasps fans' excitement grew in the 11th match minute when Coventry Wasps's Mark Booth looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Carter Rulli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from John Moyle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 23 minutes, Cornelius Baxter mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Coventry Wasps and the Juventus Telford players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 24th minute of the match, Boruc Spychalski got a very nice opportunity to score, but Zhao Ran Ming was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Camilo Ferrara managed to get in a good position for a shot. Coventry Wasps's supporters rose to their feet, but Camilo Ferrara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carter Rulli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 40th minute Mark Booth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carter Rulli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Juventus Telford's goal looked a bit too open when Mark Booth came free, but Carter Rulli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 42 minutes into the game, one of Juventus Telford:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 45th minute of the game. One of Juventus Telford:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Coventry Wasps:s goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Boruc Spychalski made a kick off. With an all-out effort, Coventry Wasps's Carter Rulli threw himself towards the right post 50 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mark Booth, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After some careless play in the Juventus Telford defense, Mark Booth kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carter Rulli. The Juventus Telford fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carter Rulli should have stopped the shot. In the 53rd minute, Leo Crispo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when John Moyle got free with Carter Rulli in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Carter Rulli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cornelius Baxter in the 58th minute of play. Zhao Ran Ming made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cälal Elxanov in the 59th minute of play. Juventus Telford made a substitution. Joonas Mure replaced Stuart Bayne. In the 75thth minute of the game Zack Doughty who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Juventus Telford's Carter Rulli was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Coventry Wasps's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
